Last weekend, I met up with this amazing family – so full of energy, life and love. Amy is a photographer herself, so she never questioned the crazy things I had them do in order to get a good photo. Her husband is in the military and will be deployed to Iraq for the second time in February, so she wanted someone to capture them as a family before he left. I am so grateful for Phil and the sacrifice and commitment he’s made to this country. I am always so touched and moved when I am chosen to photograph such a special and meaningful time in their lives. And while I know that every client treasures photos of their family, I know these will be extra special for Amy when her husband is away. Here’s a very small sneak peek at our session together, because I know she’s dying to see them!
